To us, Dynamicweb is the perfect solution because it is flexible, easy to work with and because it integrates with our ERP system. It is easy for us to open up a new webshop for one of our brands. We handle the design. NORRIQ does the technical adaptations and basically, all that remains is for us to order another Dynamicweb licence. This way, we can launch a new brand without having to start all over each time.

Increased awareness via e-business
Færch Hudpleje & Kliniksupport Ltd is the Danish distributor of the skincare products Dermalogica and Clean Start, as well as the make-up series Jane Iredale. Particularly the brand Dermalogica is relatively well-known in the Danish market. However, customers have found it difficult to find where to purchase the products, as in Denmark the products are sold solely by professional skincare clinics. Therefore, the products were not very accessible to the target groups. The customers would often purchase the products abroad or in foreign webshops.
I 2009 Færch initiated a project to make the products more accessible in the Danish market via e-business. However, there was one major challenge to overcome: How could a webshop even be considered without the risk of it being perceived as a competitor by the professional skincare clinics?
Unik multi-brand webshop
In the beginning of 2009 Færch entered into cooperation with NORRIQ in order to create an e-business solution based on Dynamicweb. Færch’s requirements for the solution were first of all to not be perceived as a competitor by the reseller clinics. Secondly, the solutions should be able to handle continuous extension and more individual brand webshops.
As part of the solution, a setup has been developed to promote the cooperation between Færch and the skincare clinics. When visitors on the clinics’ individual websites are referred to the Dermalogica webshop the clinics get commission of the revenue. This is possible because Dynamics NAV is able to register which websites the customers are referred from. Subsequently, Færch is in charge of the full order handling process, so this is quite an attractive setup for the reseller clinics.
So far the solution contains three B2C webshops for the brands Dermalogica, Clean Start and Jane Iredale. Kosmetolognet, a B2B portal where the clinics can order products among other things.
The solution also serves the purpose of being information site for the consumers. Via a line of advanced functions, the consumers get a lot of knowledge about the individual products in the webshop. Among other features, the latest press of a particular product is displayed along with the
